But what do you put in a Vegetarian Sandwich?
Recently, I went to different events where food was served. I was super excited, and when I saw the food, I couldn’t find a single vegetarian option. I was surprised, and when I heard someone asking “What do you put in a vegetarian sandwich? I was confused. I don’t want to force people to become vegetarians themselves, but I also know that we can’t continue eating meat/fish at every meal. So vegetarian options should be the casual option, should be the thing by default, and the other ones should just be there sometimes, not all the time! When I got back home, I couldn’t stop thinking about it. So I…

Spring is coming, and I didn’t believe it anymore – My experience in Scandinavia
The sky is clear, birds are singing. Sitting outside, I am writing this article surrounded by multicolored flowers, buzzing insects, the perfect springtime scenery. Depending on where you live, this seasonal change might go almost unnoticed, as natural as day following night. However, living in Scandinavia, the true arrival of Spring resembles the awakening of Sleeping Beauty’s world. Why Spring is So Special in Scandinavia: When I lived in France, particularly in the South, I mostly felt summer and the other seasons. That was it. Illustrating a children’s book • Part 1: Discovering of the project
Illustrating a children’s book may seem simple, but the reality is quite different. Several months ago, I began working on a “big” project: an illustrated children’s book titled The Adventures of the Teenies Weenies. Now that it’s finished, I am so pleased to present it to you. I want to create a series of posts to take you along with me on this long journey, sharing each step, my challenges, successes, and advice. Discovering of the project Like most of my projects, this one came to me through my network. Someone was looking for an illustrator to bring to life the texts his grandmother had written about forty years ago.…

What if I don’t want to save time?
The last time, I was talking with my husband about a video he had seen on Instagram. He was explaining the content of the video, and as I listened (promise, attentively), I reflected that the video format worked better because it allowed people to move more quickly, to get to the end of the content faster, and then move on to something else. Indeed, if we look closely at the world around us, all products promise us to save time. But upon closer reflection, what does it mean to save time? And do we really want to save time? If you pay a certain amount, you will have more followers,…

How do I create a magazine cover?
I love magazines that combine the beauty of illustrations with subjects that are dear to me. Respire magazine, Open Mind, and Flow magazines are on this list, surrounded by many others. Inspired by their work, which I find magnificent, I felt like creating my magazine cover using my illustrations. This gives them a new dimension that I adore. Here is the beginning of my process: I painted my character following an autumnal color code. The lines were done in ink with a dip pen and the colors were in watercolor. With the completed character, my next step is to find and arrange the perfect composition to showcase the illustration. And…
