I have always played a lot with dolls, but what I loved was inventing stories and preparing my dolls. Once these steps were completed, I didn’t feel like playing anymore. One day, my parents took away my dolls for some reason I can’t quite remember. I felt empty and needed to release all those stories bubbling inside me. So, I remember drawing them on paper, cutting them out, and feeling relieved because I could once again immerse myself in that universe. The struggles of my expat life
Today, I wanted to share with you some thoughts of mine about my life as an Expat. Being an Expat is such a delicious and also terrible experience. Once you have left your own country, you kind of lose your identity. I don’t see myself as a Dane but the strange thing is that I don’t see myself as a French anymore too. When I travel back to France, I can feel that it’s not working and I miss Denmark, which is my country now.
